LEADERSHIP FOCUS 2025, EXPLORING THE TRUTH

What is your leadership focus for 2025?

The major themes I have observed are:

👉 The meteoric rise of AI will continue to accelerate.

👉 Uncertainty will increase.

👉 Ongoing change and disruption are a fact of life.

👉 Cyber security is mission critical.

And, the recent PwC Annual Global CEO Survey has confirmed that over 45% of CEOs globally believe they need to reinvent their organisation and business within the next 10 years, in order to survive. Yet the pace of reinvention is slow.

Now is the time for leaders to get real, authentic, and seek the truth.

The truth-telling era is essential to your future.

➤ The truth about where you are right now.

➤ The truth about what your challenges are.

➤ The truth about the opportunities.

➤ The truth about your options.

➤ The truth about what you really need to focus on.

➤ The truth about what needs to be done.

Decisions to be made, and actions to be taken, for you to continue to have a relevant, sustainable, commercial, impact-making business.

The time to create the future is now. And you can only do this if you get honest about where you are right now…the truth.

“We cannot change what we are not aware of, and once we are aware, we cannot help but change.”

– Sheryl Sandberg

To help you discover the truth, here are a few questions you will find useful, with a few suggestions on how to apply them.

What else … ?

… is going on here?

… could we do differently?

… do we need to be doing?

… do we need to be focused on?

… could we be using AI for?

… aren’t we doing effectively?

… is a risk?

What if … ?

… we explored a new way of doing this?

… our market changed around us?

… we could leverage AI here?

… we explored a new product space?

… we examined this more closely?

… we lost some key talent?

What next … ?

… What do we need to be focused on next?

… What do we need to be concerned about next?

… What is our next challenge?

… What is our next opportunity?

… What is the next big thing in our sector?

How … ?

… am I showing up as a leader?

… am I making a difference?

… will I show up as a leader?

… can I take the conversation forward?

… can I ask better questions?

… will I support the people around me to find the solutions and operate in their strengths and expertise?

… will I lead people?

… will I navigate a pathway forward?

… do I choose to elevate my leadership?

If you are a leader, now is the time for truth. Asking better questions will help you and your people to unveil the truth about now, and the possibilities for your future.

I’d love to know your thoughts.
